Later this year, Square Enix will release a new Guardians of the Galaxy video game. It’s similar to the previous Telltale Games Guardians adventure in that the players will be able to make narrative choices. However, there’s a much heavier action component in this game. And there are also some new adversaries to contend with.
Square Enix has released a new preview from Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy that introduces Lady Hellbender. She’s a monster collector, and also the queen of Seknarf Nine. Unlike the Collector, Lady Hellbender actually seems to care about the creatures in her collection. She also appears to only have eyes for Drax the Destroyer, much to the chagrin of Star-Lord.

Additionally, there’s a version of this video with commentary from one of the developers. It adds new context to the scene by revealing why the Guardians are approaching Lady Hellbender. It also explains that players have a choice about who is in the box: Groot or Rocket.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will hit PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X & Series S, and PC on October 26.
