Next month, Spider-Man: Miles Morales will put Peter Parker’s protégé in his first-ever solo video game. Peter has put his faith in Miles to protect the city while he’s away. However, the younger Spider-Man is in for the fight of his life. There’s a war coming between Roxxon and The Underground, and Miles is caught in the middle.
Sony and Insomniac Games have released a new promo video for Spider-Man: Miles Morales that finds our hero in a bit of trouble. In a battle with The Underground, Miles finds himself in need of some assurance that he is Spider-Man. And that he can live up to his responsibilities.

The trailer doesn’t have any gameplay footage. Regardless, it does show examples of the way Miles moves in combat. Additionally, Miles demonstrates his venom blasts and temporary invisibility. Those are two powers that make him distinct from Peter’s Spider-Man.
Finally, the trailer also features a brief glimpse of The Tinkerer, the leader of The Underground. Who is under that mask? If we had to guess, it’s going to be someone that Miles knows in his civilian life. But we’ll find out soon enough.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales will hit Playstation 5 and also Playstation 4 on November 12.
