The day of John Rambo’s debut in the Mortal Kombat Universe is approaching. And now NetherRealm Studios has dropped the official gameplay trailer for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, featuring the best shots of the character voiced by Sylvester Stallone. In the video, the former Special Forces soldier locks horns with some of the Kombatants that inhabit the MK Universe. Fans get the chance to see that the veteran war hero will bring his notorious survival knife, among other weapons for the melee. He is also equipped with his combat bow for longer range targets. As an expert in hand-to-hand combat, his fighting style includes vicious grapples, and his fatality features some traps to keep his opponents guessing.
Fans of action movies from the ’80s will also appreciate the clash between Rambo and The Terminator. Gamers will decide whose head will fall, eventually. You can watch the Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate trailer in the player below.

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate will hit stores on Nov. 17, the same date when the Kombat Pack 2 DLC content will be released. Besides some character skin variants inspired by the Rambo films, the package will also include a couple more fan-favorite characters, Rain and Mileena. In addition to Rambo and T-800, the franchise has recently added many guest characters like RoboCop, Spawn, and the Joker, among others. The nostalgia operation seems to be working since fans are asking for more.
