We are just a few weeks away before the official release of the Star Wars: Squadrons videogame. To pump up the fans, EA has released a brand new CG short, “Hunted,” featuring the origin story of one of the pilots whom players will fly alongside. The short came from Motive Studio in collaboration with Lucasfilm and ILM. As usual, the visual powerhouses didn’t disappoint.
Set after the events of Return of the Jedi, the story of the game will allow the fans to fly for either the evil Empire or the New Republic. This video follows an Imperial pilot in a back-and-forth galactic battle. His clash with the Rebellion will bring his starfighter to crash on a lush planet. But even in defeat, he swears to bring the war to the enemies of the emperor.
