Aquaman Rides Into Fortnite Season 3 Trailer on a Big Fish

After a couple of reschedules, Fortnite‘s Season 2 officially comes to an end today. But fans shouldn’t despair, as Epic Games has already released the official trailer for the upcoming Season 3. And — guess what? — this time, players will be able to play with Aquaman‘s skin. In the story, the Agency has flooded the Island to ward off the famous storm. But the Island has sunk, and it’s now full of sharks. And who better than Aquaman to rule over all the aquatic creatures that will threaten the players’ lives? Once again, the king of the underwater kingdom of Atlantis will have the (stylized) appearance of Jason Momoa. And much to some of the fans’ delight, it looks like his shirt does indeed come off.

This isn’t the first time that someone from the superhero comic-book world crossed over into Fortnite. Fans have already had the option to play as the X-Force characters, as Deadpool, or as Harley Quinn, just to name a few.

You can watch the official Fortnite Season 3 trailer in the player below. You can also check out the official Battle Pass gameplay trailer.

Epic Games has also announced some new introductions this season. The one that looks the funniest is that players will be allowed to ride sharks by using a fishing rod. They can come up with a design of their own for the umbrella after leveling up their Battle Pass. Epic Games also introduced the Marauders, who can appear and challenge the players’ survival. Lastly, the water will retreat after some time, revealing some familiar locations from the past seasons.

Fortnite Season 3 is already available on all major platforms.
