Nearly twenty five years ago, X-Men vs. Street Fighter marked the beginning of a Marvel and Capcom crossover franchise. After teasing a new arcade cabinet recreation earlier this year, Arcade1Up has officially announced two new Marvel and Capcom themed releases. Via IGN, the X-Men vs. Street Fighter cabinet will be released later this year. It will also include Marvel vs. Capcom, as well as the original X-Men arcade fighting game. Additionally, it will include the SNES game, X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse.
However, Marvel vs. Capcom is getting a cabinet of its own. That will also include X-Men vs. Street Fighter, as well as Mavel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter. Additionally, it have a SNES game of its own: Marvel Super-Heroes: War of the Gems.

Unfortunately, there’s no sign of the fan favorite game, Marvel vs. Capcom 2. However, that seems likely to eventually get a release of its own. There was one other Marvel related release on Arcade1Up’s upcoming slate. The Marvel Digital Pinball cabinet will feature 10 of Zen Studios Marvel games. The trailer below offers a glimpse of some the included characters and designs.
