Last month, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that it was postponing its long-awaited Iron Man VR game due to the COVID-19 outbreak. It wasn’t the first time that the game was hit with a delay. But now, the studio has just set a new date for the armored Avenger’s upcoming VR experience. Via the official PlayStation Blog, Sony has revealed that the game will now hit stores on July 3. To sweeten the deal, Sony is offering a new VR headset bundle as well as a demo for the game.
Aside from the game itself, the bundle includes a VR headset, a PlayStation Camera, and two PlayStation Move motion controllers. There will also be a PS VR Demo Disc for players to sample a handful of other games from their VR library. Gamers can pre-order the bundle now for $349.99.

The demo is totally free to anyone who already owns a VR headset for their PS4. Players will get a feel for the game’s controls with the “Malibu” tutorial mission. From here, players board Tony Stark’s private jet and view an interactive cinematic featuring his A.I. assistant, Friday, and Pepper Potts. Unfortunately, their joyride will be cut short by the “Out of the Blue” mission, which was teased in the game’s first trailer and involves Tony fending off an attack on the jet. Gamers will also be able to explore two optional flight and combat challenges.
