Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 1 ended with an explosive finale. “If This Be My Destiny…” offered a number of hints for the next season’s storyline. More subtle teases involved several WEB list names of potential recruits Harry Osborn assembled.

The finale ended with Oscorp in trouble after it was revealed that Norman Osborn endangered the world, though Spider-Man and Doctor Strange prevented a symbiote invasion. Harry then created the Worldwide Engineering Brigade to hire Peter and a list of recruits.
Who were the WEB list names?

Not all the WEB list names are a reference to a Marvel character. Some belong to production team members. However, there are enough Marvel Easter eggs to suggest some Season 2 additions.
Max Dillon

One of Spider-Man’s most powerful enemies, Max Dillon is the villain Electro. In the comics, Dillon was a lineman who acquired electrical powers and turned to crime after an accident. In the movies, where he was played by Jamie Foxx, he was an electrical engineer. It seems likely that the WEB List Dillon will be an engineer as well.
Tia Miranda

First appearing in 2017’s Unstoppable Wasp #2, Tia Miranda was a gifted engineer and inventor. Due to cerebral palsy, she had limited mobility. However, her inventiveness allowed her to build devices that enabled her to overcome these limits. She was recruited into the G.I.R.L think tank by Nadia Van Dyne and assisted the younger Wasp in protecting New York.
Priya Aggarwal

The daughter of Indian immigrants, Priya Aggarwal was another G.I.R.L. recruit, first appearing in 2017’s Unstoppable Wasp #3. Priya was a botanist, who had a gift for crossbreeding plants. She later developed the power to communicate with plants and accelerate their growth. Her presence suggests she could become this world’s version of Poison Ivy.
Toni Sandoval

Toni Sandoval seems to be adapted from the character of Dr. Toni Ho and her co-creator, Gerardo Sandoval. First appearing in 2015’s New Avengers #1, Toni was the daughter of Professor Ho Yinsen, who helped Tony Stark construct the first Iron Man armor before his death. Toni blamed Stark for her father’s death and joined A.I.M., where she built her own armor.
Ned Leeds

Originally, Ned Leeds was a supporting character in the Spider-Man comics, where he was a reporter at the Daily Bugle and Betty Brant’s husband. He was believed to be the first Hobgoblin until it was later confirmed he was brainwashed by Roderick Kingsley. The name was later given to Peter Parker’s best friend in the MCU. It seems likely this Ned is the one mentioned.
Tiberius Stone

First appearing in 2000’s Iron Man #37, Tiberius Stone was a childhood frenemy of Tony Stark. Competitive to a fault, he spent several years in Europe before returning to the US so he could steal everything Tony built. Among other dirty dealings, Stone was responsible for creating the Alchemax corporation, which took over the future society of Spider-Man 2099.
Kiden Nixon

Kiden Nixon was the main character of NYX, first appearing in 2003. A homeless Mutant, Kiden had the power to control the flow of time around her. Her inclusion on the WEB List could indicate how Mutants will be introduced in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.
Ripley Ryan

First appearing in 2019’s Captain Marvel #1, Ripley Ryan was a reporter who was assigned to follow Carol Danvers for a day. She came to hate Captain Marvel, whom she blamed for her abduction by a supervillain during that day. Ripley later acquired the Reality Stone and became the anti-hero Star.
Diane Jenkins

Diane Jenkins was a student at Empire State University, who made a single appearance in 2019’s Marvel Comics Presents #8. Diane cosplayed as Spider-Woman in a viral video. Sadly, she was convincing enough that HYDRA tried to kill her, thinking she was Jessica Drew. Diane was later killed accidentally, running into traffic while escaping from another supervillain attack.
