Jude Law is saving children from murderous pirates in the new trailer for Star Wars: Skeleton Crew.
Star Wars: Skeleton Crew is a new sci-fi series coming to Disney+ this coming December. Set after the events of 1983’s Return of the Jedi, the new Skeleton Crew trailer and poster preview a coming-of-age story told on a galactic scale.

What happens in the Star Wars: Skeleton Crew trailer?
The Star Wars: Skeleton Crew sees four children become lost within the galaxy after discovering a ship that takes them far, far away from home. Wanting to return back to their families, the children find help from a character named Jod, played by Law; however, Jod’s true motivations for wanting to help the kids remain a mystery at this time.
“Star Wars: Skeleton Crew follows the journey of four kids who make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet, then get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Finding their way home—and meeting unlikely allies and enemies—will be a greater adventure than they ever imagined,” the official synopsis reads.
Along with Law, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew stars Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, Tunde Adebimpe, Kerry Condon, and Nick Frost.
JonWatts, David Lowery, the Daniels (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert), Jake Schreier, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Lee Isaac Chung all directed episodes of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. Watts also serves as head writer alongside Christopher Ford.
Watts, Ford, Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson are executive producers on the show, while Chris Buongiorno, Karen Gilchrist, and Carrie Beck serve as co-executive producers. Susan McNamara and John Bartnicki as producers.
The first two episodes of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew will be released on Disney+ on December 3, 2024. It will have eight episodes in total.
