A new The Penguin trailer is out, previewing the final four episodes of the hit HBO spin-off series to The Batman.
What happens in The Penguin trailer?
The new trailer, billed as the show’s mid-season trailer, previews the upcoming struggle between Oz Cobb and Sofia Falcone. With Falcone now knowing the truth about Cobb and taking control of her family, she will stop at nothing to take down Oz, while Oz is looking to finally rise to the top.

The Penguin is set one week after the events of The Batman, meaning that Gotham City is now flooded after Paul Dano’s The Riddler blew up the seawall. The Penguin chronicles Cobb’s rise to power in Gotham’s seedy underbelly, giving fans a look into how he becomes the formidable crime kingpin he’s known to be.
Alongside Farrell, The Penguin also stars Rhenzy Feliz, Cristin Milioti, Michael Zegen, Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Deirdre O’Connell, Clancy Brown, James Madio, Scott Cohen, Francois Chau, Carmen Ejogo, David H. Holmes, and more.
The 8-episode series is written by showrunner Lauren LeFranc, with Craig Zobel directing the first two episodes. Executive producers are The Batman’s Dylan Clark and Matt Reeves, Farrell, LeFranc, Daniel Pipski, Adam Kassanand, and Rafi Crohn. It is a joint project between 6th and Idaho, DC Entertainment, Dylan Clark Productions, and Warner Bros. Television.
