Max New York Comic Con Lineup Includes Creature Commandos, Dune: Prophecy, & More

Max is bringing Creature Commandos, Dune: Prophecy, and more to New York Comic Con this year.

New York Comic Con begins on October 17, 2024. Max has announced its lineup — which includes never-before-seen footage from a number of upcoming television series — for this year’s annual event.

All events will take place October 17 through Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the Javits Center in New York City.

What is Max bringing to New York Comic Con this year?

On October 17, Max will hold a panel for The Penguin, which includes an extended sneak peek of episode five of the forthcoming HBO series. The panel will also a mid-season discussion with Colin Farrell (Oz Cobblepot and executive producer) Cristin Milioti (Sofia Falcone), Rhenzy Feliz (Victor Aguilar), Deirdre O’Connell (Francis Cobb), Michael Kelly (Johnny Viti), Clancy Brown (Sal Maroni), Lauren LeFrancy (showrunner and executive producer), and Mike Marino (prosthetic makeup designer). The event is being held from 11 a.m. to noon at the Empire Stage.

Then, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on October 17 at the Empire Stage, Max will debut a new trailer for Dune: Prophecy. There will also be a panel discussion with showrunner Alison Schapker, executive producer Jordan Goldberg, and cast members Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Josh Heuston, Chloe Lea, and Jessica Barden.

At 2 p.m. on Friday, Max will hold an advanced screening for The Franchise in Room 405. Himesh Patel, Aya Cash, Billy Magnussen, Lolly Adefope, Daniel Brühl, Darren Goldstein, Isaac Powell, Jon Brown, Rachel Axler, and Juli Weiner will be present for a panel discussion.

Lastly, James Gunn will be present for a Creature Commandos panel on Saturday, October 19, at 4:45 p.m. at the Empire Stage. Joining Gunn for the panel discussion are Dean Lorey (executive producer), Frank Grillo (Rick Flag Sr.), David Harbour (Frankenstein), Zoë Chao (Nina Mazursky), Steve Agee (Economos), and Sean Gunn (GI Robot and Weasel).
