When is Star Wars: Skeleton Crew’s release date?

According to PEOPLE, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew will premiere on Disney+ on December 3, 2024.

Law described the forthcoming Star Wars series as “joyful.” He continued, “It is a fun place to be, the universe of Star Wars. And there are great references to old films and recent episodes and series. There’s a lot of originality and I hope that will bring the feeling of fun to those who watch it.”

He also said that it is “very much a piece about working together and overcoming fears and overcoming…perhaps [one’s] opinion of oneself or one’s own weaknesses in order to succeed.”

In addition to the four child actors, Watts revealed that the series will introduce a droid character named SM 33, who will be voiced by Nick Frost.

“He’s like a rusty old, cranky droid that sort of reluctantly helps the kids along the way,” Watts said. “The other thing about him is that he’s the first mate of a mysterious ship.”

Watts and Law said that Skeleton Crew will feature plenty of easter eggs for Star Wars fans; however, Watts also noted that “you don’t have to know everything about Star Wars to enjoy the show.”
