Spider-Noir Cast Adds Li Jun Li to Prime Video Marvel Series

The Spider-Noir cast continues to grow, with Deadline reporting that Li Jun Li has signed on as a series regular in the upcoming Prime Video series.

Li will play the role of an as-of-yet unknown person, who is a singer at a premier nightclub in New York City. Prior to Spider-Noir, Li starred in the Netflix supernatural action series Wu Assassins, as well as Damien Chazelle’s comedy drama Babylon.

Up next for Li, she’ll also star in the currently untitled Ryan Coogler film starring Michael B. Jordan, as well as Paramount Pictures’ upcoming Alma and the Wolf.

Who else is in the Spider-Noir cast?

Alongside Li, Spider-Noir will also star Nicolas Cage in the role of Spider-Man, a role he will be reprising from his performances in the animated “Spider-Verse” movies. Lamorne Morris will also star in the series as Robbie Robertson, with more casting information likely coming in the future.

Spider-Noir does not yet have a premiere date; however, the series will first debut on MGM+ before it then hits Amazon Prime Video. Nicolas Cage also recently revealed that the series would consist of eight episodes.

Spider-Noir “tells the story of an aging and down-on-his-luck private investigator (Cage) in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero,” according to Deadline.

Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot serve as co-showrunners on Spider-Noir. Harry Bradbeer is directing and executive producing the first two episodes of the eight-episode series, while Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal also serve as executive producers.
