Invincible Season 2 Part 2 Trailer Previews the Return of Prime Video’s Hit Superhero Series

Prime Video has released the first trailer for Invincible Season 2 Part 2.

The Invincible Season 2 Part 2 trailer introduces a number of new threats and villains to the fan-favorite superhero series, while it also shows Mark continuing to deal with the falling out that he had with his father at the end of the first season.

What do we know about Invincible Season 2 Part 2?

Invincible premiered on Amazon Prime Video in March 2021. Based on the Image Comics series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, the series revolves around Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), a teenage superhero who learns some dark, terrible secrets about his father, Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons).

Prior to the start of the new season, Prime Video released a prequel special titled Invincible: Atom Eve in July 2023. The first four episodes of Invincible Season 2 were then released in November 2023.

“Mark goes back to college, reads his dad’s books, and nothing bad happens to him or his family,” the description of Invincible Season 2 Part 2 reads. “This is a very official synopsis.”

Along with Yeun and Simmons, the voice cast for Invincible Season 2 Part 2 includes Seth Rogen as Allen the Alien, Gillian Jacobs as Samantha Wilkins/Atom Eve, Sterling K. Brown as Angstrom Levy, Jason Mantzoukas as Rex Sloan/Rex Splode, Andrew Rannells as William Clockwell, Zachary Quinto as Robot, Zazie Beetz as Amber Bennett, and Walton Goggins as Cecil Stedman, among others.

Invincible Season 2 Part 2 comes from executive producers Kirkman, Rogen, David Alpert, Catherine Winder, Simon Racioppa, Margaret M. Dean, and Evan Goldberg, while Helen Leigh and Walker serve as executive producers.

Co-produced by Skybound Animation and Amazon MGM Studios, Invincible Season 2 Part 2, which consists of four episodes that will be released weekly, premieres on Prime Video on Thursday, March 14, 2024.
