The CW released a new The Flash promo for the upcoming series finale of the DC superhero television series.
The new video shows Barry meeting many of his old enemies as he laments the difficulties he’s faced over the past nine years. As Iris, his wife, gives birth to their child, Barry struggles to save the timeline and Eddie’s life.

What to expect in The Flash series finale?
“The Flash, the fastest man alive, is tasked with his greatest challenge yet, to save the timeline and save existence,” reads the finale’s synopsis. “Friends old and new gather for an epic battle to save Central City, one last time.”
The ninth season marks Grant Gustin’s final time as The Flash, as the actor is not set to cameo in the upcoming feature film adaptation of the same character. Recently, Gustin opened up about concluding the series after nine seasons, stating, “It just felt like time.“
The Flash Season 9 stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Danielle Nicolet, and Brandon McKnight. The CW series will release its final episode on May 24 after being on the air since 2014.
