The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Teaser Looks To the Skies

In fiction, it’s usually not a good sign when some mysterious object comes crashing to Earth. You might even call it a bad portent of things to come. But in the new teaser for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, it’s a way to unite the cast of characters even though they are very far apart on the map of Middle-earth. But regardless of the distance between them, they all notice the strange object in the sky as it passes by them.

Most of these characters are still unknown to us by their faces, but young Galadriel (Morfydd Clark) and young Elrond (Robert Aramayo) are easily recognizable. The Hobbit-like Harfoot, Poppy Proudfellow (Megan Richards) is also the one who happens to be the closest when the object finally crashes. Perhaps that’s her way into the larger storyline.

Additionally, the teaser briefly introduces us to a human woman, Bronwyn (Nazanin Boniadi), and her elven lover, Arondir (Ismael Cruz Córdova). In this time, elves and humans were forbidden to mate with each other. But neither Bronwyn nor Arodndir seem to care when they hold each others’ hands while the object races by.
