The Boys Teases Herogasm in a New Episode 6 Promo

It’s official: The Boys can get away with pretty much anything at this point. The current season of the hit Amazon series has featured plenty of gross-out gags over last five episodes. But these are nothing compared to wait awaits fans in this week’s installment. Episode 6 will finally pull back the curtain on Herogasm, which was easily the most controversial storyline from the original comic book series. Now, we have our very first look at the show’s version of events thanks to a brand new promo.

In the comics, Herogasm was an annual event where the supes took a break from heroism and gathered on a remote island for several days of orgies, hard drugs, and other unmentionable behavior. The six-issue storyline was actually Garth Ennis’ way of poking fun at mainstream comic book crossovers. Because as far as the general public is concerned, the heroes are off-planet fighting an extraterrestrial threat. Having their guards down makes this the perfect time for The Boys to get the drop on the supes and uncover new dirt on Vought.

The TV show will most likely handle things a bit differently when the episode airs later this week. But whatever the creators have in store, it was risqué enough for Amazon to slap a full-fledged warning label on the new promo. Among other things, the disclaimer promises “a massive supe orgy, airborne penetration, dildo-based maiming, extra strength lube, icicle phalluses and cursing.” Plus, it looks like we can also expect an appearance by Vasilii Vorishikin, the Russian supe better known as Love Sausage.

The next episode of The Boys will hit Amazon Prime this Friday, June 24.
