Just over a week ago, Marvel Studios offered its first look at its upcoming She-Hulk series, as well as its new name: She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. But apparently the full cast has yet to be revealed. Regardless, there’s at least one more familiar face in the ensemble. Via Entertainment Tonight, The Flight Attendant co-star Griffin Matthews has revealed that he will have a recurring role in multiple episodes of She-Hulk. He declined to share specifics about who he will play, but Matthews didn’t hold back when asked about how he felt about the opportunity to join the MCU.
“Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would join the Marvel Universe!” exclaimed Matthews. “This was never a genre that I thought an actor like me, in my package, could fit into…The most exciting part of joining the MCU was being told by our director and writers: ‘Do not try to fit. Just be you.’ And that gave me the freedom to run wild.”
Matthews portrayed Shane Evans for two seasons on HBO Max’s The Flight Attendant, in addition to appearing in Netflix’s Dear White People series. He has also had roles in Ballers, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, and the upcoming Apple TV+ series, Roar.

Tatiana Maslany headlines the series as Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who happens to be Bruce Banner’s cousin. After an attempt on her life, Jennifer receives a blood transfusion from Bruce that transforms her into She-Hulk. But unlike her cousin, Jennifer always retains her original personality in her She-Hulk form.
Mark Ruffalo will reprise his role as Bruce Banner/Hulk, with Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/Abomination, Benedict Wong as Wong, Ginger Gonzaga as Nikki, Jameela Jamil as Titania, and Renée Elise Goldsberry as Amelia.
She-Hulk will premiere on Disney+ on August 17.
