Steven Embraces His Identities In New Moon Knight Promo

If Moon Knight‘s main character, Steven Grant, takes the time to explain his multiple personas to strangers, he would probably be written off as crazy. And to be fair, he does have a very specific mental condition: dissociative identity disorder. However, Steven isn’t crazy, he’s just haunted by other versions of himself and by a creepy vision of Khonshu, the Egyptian God of the Moon. The MCU hasn’t really explored much in the supernatural realm before, but that changes here. And in the new Moon Knight promo, Steven gets some unexpected insight into his condition from his new mortal enemy.

Arthur Harrow may be uniquely situated to offer Steven some clarity. After all, Harrow is the chosen follower of the Egyptian goddess, Ammit, just as Steven was chosen by Khonshu. That may be why Harrow seems to understand Steven’s issues even though they are on opposite sides. And Harrow’s advice to Steven is to “embrace it.”
