Titans EP Announces the Start of Production on Season 4

The cast of Titans has been taking a well-deserved break following the events of the show’s last season. But now the team’s members are re-grouping for their next big mission. Writer and executive producer Richard Hatem recently took to social media to announce that today marks the first official day of production on Titans season 4. You can check out his post below.

Hatem’s photo also confirms that Nicholas Copus is directing the season premiere. Copus appears to be a newcomer to the Titans family. However, he isn’t a stranger to the larger DC Universe. He has previously helmed several episodes of Fox’s Gotham and also tackled CW staples like Arrow and The Flash. Some of Copus’ other TV work includes episodes of TNT’s Animal Kingdom and Starz’s American Gods.

A new season of Titans was announced during last fall’s DC FanDome livestream. Because season 3 didn’t exactly end on a cliffhanger, it’s hard to speculate on any directions that the series might take when it returns with new episodes. But we do know who some of the villains will be. Last month, Joseph Morgan joined the cast of season 4 as Sebastian Blood/Brother Blood, a familiar supervillain from DC’s comic book universe. Morgan will appear opposite two other new additions to the show: Franka Potente’s Mother Mayhem and Lisa Ambalavanar’s Jinx.

HBO Max still hasn’t announced a premiere date for Titans season 4.
