Although her character may be trapped in suburbia for now, viewers haven’t seen the last of Kathryn Hahn in the MCU. Marvel’s Agatha: House of Harkness spinoff was one of several new projects announced during last fall’s Disney+ Day event. Expectations are high, especially following Hahn’s Emmy-nominated performance on WandaVision. Fortunately, Hahn sounds happy with what she has seen so far.
House of Harkness is still in early development. But while speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Hahn confirmed that Marvel is keeping her appraised of what they have planned for the series. And according to her, the spinoff is “exactly what [she] would have hoped and dreamt.”
“It’s crazy to me and kind of buoying that this big chapter happened post-kids for me,” said Hahn. “I subconsciously was taught that after I had kids, I’d have to drop my ambition ball. And that really didn’t seem to be the case. In fact, more doors opened.”

WandaVision’s Jac Schaeffer will reportedly write and executive produce House of Harkness as part of her overall deal with Marvel and 20th Television. Rumor has it that the studio is developing the show as a dark comedy. Regardless, we still don’t know if it takes place before the events of WandaVision or picks up where the series left off last year.
Disney+ hasn’t announced a release date for Agatha: House of Harkness.
