Moon Knight Trailer Gets a Quick Tease; Full Version Arrives Monday

Ever since Hawkeye ended, Disney+ hasn’t exactly been forthcoming with dates for future Marvel shows. But it looks like we’ll find out very soon. Monday brings forth the first full trailer for Moon Knight, starring Oscar Isaac as the mentally ill Marc Spector who channels an Egyptian deity. Expect the Moon Knight trailer during the NFL Super Wild Card Game, covered on ABC and the various ESPNs. Non-sports fans may shudder, but as with the last few Star Wars movie trailers, it’s a great way to get it in front of eyeballs that don’t follow sites like this one. Full version.

[Note: if you don’t care to watch the game, Superhero Hype will post the trailer as soon as it comes online.]

For now, Disney offers a brief tease that gives us a quick look at Ethan Hawke being creepy (but looking pretty much like himself otherwise). We also get freeze-frame-or-you’ll-miss-it looks at Marc’s transformation and full costume. Check out all fifteen seconds below:

The trailer should also reveal the release date, previously speculated to be March sometime. Disney+ typically keeps a Marvel or Star Wars show on at slmost all times, and The Book of Boba Fett‘s gonna run out in four more weeks. Regardless, it looks like Moon Knight will become the first MCU streaming series of the year, and probably the first MCU, period, as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness doesn’t hit theaters till May.
