The Book of Boba Fett Episode 3 – What Did You Think?!

Warning: There are spoilers ahead for the third episode of The Book of Boba Fett! Boba Fett episode 3

Jabba’s palace has been pretty sparsely populated under Boba Fett’s reign. However, that may be about to change. The third episode of The Book of Boba Fett has debuted on Disney+, and we want to know what the Superhero Hype community thinks about it! This post is a place for all of you to leave your own reviews, thoughts, or anything else you want to say about The Book of Boba Fett episode 3.

Boba Fett and Fennec Shand hear an appeal from a water merchant, Lortha Peel, who claims that Boba isn’t respected. He also wants Boba to take out the cyborg gang that has been stealing his water. Instead of attacking Drash and her gang, Boba hires them to be his enforcers. He even pays Lortha some of the money for the water stolen by Drash’s gang. Regardless, Boba likely alienated Lortha because he refused to pay the full amount and he warned Lortha to lower his prices.

In flashback, Boba leaves his Tusken tribe to get their tribute from the Pykes. The Pyke boss claims that their syndicate is also forced to pay tribute to the Nikto gang. Boba tells him that the Nikto gang will be dealt with. But when Boba returns home, the entire Tusken tribe has been murdered, presumably by the Nikto gang. Boba’s trip down memory lane ends when the wookiee bounty hunter, Black Krrsantan, pulls him from the bacta tank and starts beating the crap out of him.

Drash and her gang briefly distract Black Krrsantan. But only Fennec is able to subdue the beast by dropping him in the Rancor pit. Since one of Boba’s Gamorean guards was injured in the fight, he orders the guard to be placed in his bacta tank.

The next day, Jabba’s cousins, the Twins, arrive at the palace and claim responsibility for the hit on Boba’s life. To “apologize,” the Twins give Boba a young Rancor, and they claim that Mos Espa’s mayor has invited another faction to take over. Boba offers the Twins Black Krrsantan’s return if they renounce all claims to Jabba’s empire, but they refuse. Regardless, Boba allows Black Krrsantan to leave. Later, Boba bonds with the Rancor and expresses his desire to ride it.

Soon after, Boba, Fennec, and their new enforcers try to visit the mayor. But when the mayor’s majordomo slips out of city hall, the gang is forced to chase him down in Mos Espa. When cornered, the majordomo admits that the mayor has promised Mos Espa and Jabba’s empire to the Pykes. Sometime later, one of Boba’s new enforcers spots the first wave of Pykes arriving on a transport. Boba and Fennec realize that it’s a prelude to war, but they aren’t backing down.
