Although Clint Barton has appeared in five MCU movies, his history hasn’t really been explored. However, that will change in the upcoming Hawkeye series on Disney+. This time, Clint’s past is coming back to haunt him. That includes his more recent history as the vigilante, Ronin. Clint may have his family back after Avengers: Endgame, but he will have to fight his way back to them.
In a new Hawkeye promo, Clint sports his new comic book inspired outfit as he grapples with a past that he thought was behind him.

Additionally, there’s a promo that puts more of the focus on Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop. It may be a stretch to call them “partners,” but Kate and Clint will need each other if they hope to survive the holidays.

Finally, there’s a mini featurette that focuses on the dynamic between Clint and Kate on the series. They don’t immediately have the close bond of their comic book counterparts. Regardless, it looks like Hawkeye and his protégée are going to work well together.
Hawkeye will premiere its first two episodes on Disney+ on November 24.
