The Legends are supposed to protect the timeline, but who will protect the timeline from the Legends? It appears that the most-improbable ensemble of superheroes has messed up with time once more, and they will pay the consequences for it in Legends of Tomorrow episode 7.05. Shortly after arriving in New York, part of the team disappears into thin air. Sara has to move quickly to save the situation from escalating and losing all her crew. The next installment will also feature the return of Matt Ryan, but he won’t portray the character fans might expect.

Andrew Kasch directed the episode written by Paiman Kalayeh and Mark Bruner. The official synopsis for “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Scientist” reads:
“A LITTLE LUCK – After Sara (Caity Lotz), Ava (Jes Macallan), Behrad (Shayan Sobhian) and Gary (Adam Tsekham) arrive in New York City, they track down Dr. Gwyn Davies (Matt Ryan), who isn’t the scientist they expected. Astra (Olivia Swann), Spooner (Lisseth Chavez), and Gideon (Amy Pemberton) are still trying to stop the Legends from using the time machine, but they run into some more setbacks along the way. Meanwhile, in the pocket dimension Nate (Nick Zano) and Zari (Tala Ashe) work together on the Hoover situation as well how to make their future together work.”
The next episode of Legends of Tomorrow will premiere on the CW on November 10.
