Camrus Johnson Responds To Ruby Rose’s Batwoman Allegations

Yesterday, both Warner Bros. Television and Dougray Scott issued statements refuting Ruby Rose’s claims of misconduct and negligence on the set of Batwoman. In a series of Instagram stories, Rose called out former studio chairman Peter Roth for forcing her to return to work too soon after she suffered an injury during filming. She also alleged that Scott was abusive toward women involved with the show’s production. Now, another one of Rose’s former co-stars has shared his own response to her claims.

Camrus Johnson, who has starred on Batwoman as Luke Fox/Batwing since the series’ outset, wasn’t spared from Rose’s wrath. Rose went so far as to call him an “egomaniac kid who worked one day a week.” She also accused Johnson of leaking rumors to the press about her alleged habit of being late to the set. However, Johnson insists that this isn’t true at all, and he backed WB and Scott’s claims that she was fired from the show.

There are still a few other Batwoman players who have yet to address Rose’s remarks, including showrunner Caroline Dries, as well as executive producers Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter. But since they were all mentioned by name, they may choose to speak up at any time.
