In just over a month, Supergirl season 6 will resume on The CW. There are only 12 episodes left in the series before Kara Danvers’ adventures come to an end. However, her greatest trials lie ahead.
The CW has released a new trailer for Supergirl‘s remaining episodes, and it looks like Kara’s got some PTSD from her time in the Phantom Zone. Kara was trapped in the Phantom Zone for almost the entire first part of the season. Also, Kara isn’t used to being as vulnerable as she was there. That’s why Kara’s adoptive sister is trying to help her through her pain.
Additionally, Kara didn’t escape from the Phantom Zone herself. Her father, Zor-El, is also on Earth now, and he recognizes some uncomfortable parallels between our world and Krypton.

Finally, Kara has a more pressing problem. Nyxly also snuck out of the Phantom Zone with Kara and Zor-El. And now that she’s back on Earth, Nyxly’s 5th Dimensional powers are going to wreck havoc on both Supergirl and National City.
Supergirl season 6 will resume on Tuesday, August 24 on The CW.
