The Witcher Season 2 Will Premiere on Netflix In December

Nearly two years ago, The Witcher made its debut on Netflix. It’s been a long wait for new episodes. However, the next season is just a few months away. During the online WitcherCon, Netflix announced that The Witcher season 2 will premiere on Netflix on December 17.

Henry Cavill stars in the series as Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter whose legend continues to grow. Freya Allan also stars in the series as Princess Ciri, alongside Anya Chalotra as Yennefer of Vengerberg. While the first season kept Geralt and Ciri apart until the closing moments of the finale, the duo are featured together in the new season 2 poster below.

Additionally, Netflix shared two new pictures from the upcoming season. First, Jaskier the bard (Joey Batey) finds a receptive audience.
