Time has flown by since The Flash debuted on Oct. 7, 2014, on The CW and now the series has almost reached its 150th episode. In a matter of days, the show will step over this milestone, bringing some delightful surprises. First of all, fans will see more of Bart Allen, a.k.a. Impulse, who made his debut in the Arrowverse in the latest episode. Impulse will join forces with his sister, Nora Allen, a.k.a. XS, to help their father defeating Godspeed once and for all. But it appears that they will need as much help as they can get. And that’s why John Wesley Shipp’s Flash will come in handy.

Eric Dean Seaton directed the episode written by Eric Wallace & Lauren Barnett. The official synopsis for “Heart of the Matter – Part 1” reads:
“XS AND IMPULSE SURPRISE BARRY AND IRIS IN THE 150TH EPISODE OF THE FLASH – Barry (Grant Gustin) and Iris (Candice Patton) greet their future children, XS (guest star Jessica Parker Kennedy) and Bart (guest star Jordan Fisher), only for a shocking secret to threaten their new familial harmony. Meanwhile, the Godspeed war intensifies and threatens to destroy Central City.“
The next episode of The Flash airs at 8 pm on The CW on July 13.
