Laurie Holden Will Play Crimson Countess in The Boys Season 3

A genre veteran is joining The Boys next season. Variety is reporting that Laurie Holden has been cast as Crimson Countess in The Boys season 3. Holden’s role will appear on a recurring basis throughout the new season.

In The Boys comics, Crimson Countess is a heroine created by Vought who was in the running to join The Seven. Her powers include fire and heat manipulation, and also a form of heat vision.

Holden is perhaps best known for starring in The Walking Dead as Andrea during the first three seasons. Additionally, Holden had recurring roles on The X-Files, The Shield, and The Americans. Holden’s credits also include the first Silent Hill movie, The Majestic, and The Mist.
