Netflix’s first-ever Geeked Week couldn’t wrap up without touching on The Witcher. While the second season won’t premiere for at least a few months, there was no trailer debut today. However, there was a new teaser featuring Ciri.
Players of The Witcher video games should know how formidable Ciri will become. Ciri still has a long way to go in the show before she fully comes into her powers. Regardless, her journey will continue to advance in season 2. And the new clips demonstrate her ongoing transformation.

Additionally, Netflix is partnering with CD PROJEKT RED, the developers behind The Witcher video games. Both companies are co-sponsoring WitcherCon, an online event coming July 9. Naturally, the promo image features the games’ incarnation of Geralt with Henry Cavill’s Geralt from the show.

According to Netflix, WitcherCon will feature online panels about the show, the games, comics, and more. There will also be previews of the mobile game, The Witcher: Monster Slayer, and the upcoming anime film, Nightmare of the Wolf. It also stands to reason a full season 2 trailer may debut as well.
WitcherCon will stream on Twitch and Youtube on July 9, with a second stream of content following on July 10. Both streams will have exclusive content.
