Netflix Announces the Voice Cast For Zack Snyder’s Twilight of the Gods Anime Series

Nearly two years have passed since Netflix announced that it was ordering a new anime series from Zack Snyder featuring characters from Norse mythology. Now, the project finally has a title. During today’s Geeked Week announcements, Netflix confirmed that Snyder’s show will be called Twilight of the Gods. Additionally, the full voice cast for the series was announced. You can check out the roster below.

Fringe and Lord of the Rings star John Noble is headlining the series as Odin, with Paterson Joseph (Æon Flux) as Loki and Corey Stoll (Ant-Man) starring as Hrafnkel. Other recognizable additions include The Walking Dead’s Lauren Cohan as Inge, Peter Stormare (Fargo) as Ulfr, Jamie Chung (Lovecraft Country) as Hel, and Rahul Kohli (iZombie) as Egill. The series will also feature Game of Thrones veterans Kristopher Hivju and Pilou Asbæk as Andvari and Thor, respectively.

Netflix previously explored the mythology genre last year with Blood of Zeus, which featured characters from the Greek pantheon. With Snyder attached, Twilight of the Gods will probably fare just as well. The series marks Snyder’s latest collaboration with Netflix following last month’s premiere of Army of the Dead. Snyder is also fleshing out that movie’s universe with another anime series called Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas.

Twilight of the Gods doesn’t have a release date yet.
