The CW has debuted a brand new promo for the upcoming sixth episode of Supergirl season 6. The next installment will continue the story that debuted last week, with Nia and Brainiac 5 traveling back to 2009. Their trip through time brought them to meet Young Kara, who will have her fair share of troubles when she engages with kryptonite right before prom. Additionally, Cat Grant is meddling into Nia’s and Brainiac’s attempts to save their friend as the young reporter suspects there is a big story in Midvale. The images show that the episode will also feature a pair of invading aliens who will lock horns with the Young Kara. In the meantime, the real Kara is still trapped in the Phantom Zone.

Chyler Leigh directed the episode written by Rob Wright & Jess Kardos. The official synopsis for “Prom Again!” reads:
“CHYLER LEIGH MAKES HER DIRECTORIAL DEBUT – Part two of the flashback episodes pick up where things left off – Young Kara (guest star Izabela Vidovic) experiences kryptonite for the first time, Nia (Nicole Maines) and Brainy (Jesse Rath) are trapped by invading aliens, and a young Cat Grant (guest star Eliza Helm) may be the reason Supergirl never gets out of the Phantom Zone.”
The next episode of Supergirl Season 6 will debut on The CW on May 4.
