It’s Desperate Maneuver Time in Snowpiercer Season 2 Trailer

Right before the end of the month, the Snowpiercer series will debut its second season. The first installment re-introduced the post-apocalyptic world where everything is frozen, and humanity has to live on an ever-moving train. It took a while for the story to get started, but Season 1 featured a clever mix of drama and action. Then it ended with the discovery that Snowpiercer is not the only train that keeps on circling the Earth. A rival train is heading towards Layton and the others, and the encounter might not be so pleasant. According to the new season’s logline, “Mr. Wilford returns to Snowpiercer and brings chaos and corruption to the freedom just won.”

And now, TNT has released the first trailer for the upcoming ten-episode Season 2, which will see the long-awaited onscreen debut of Mr. Wilford. Sean Bean will portray the once-reclusive billionaire, while Jennifer Connelly will return as Melanie Cavill and Daveed Diggs as Andre Layton. The video teases that the inhabitants of the train are ready for a desperate slingshot to escape from their condition.
