It’s Total War in Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 Finale Photos

In a matter of hours, Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 will wrap up after a thirteen-week run. To pump up the fans for the already much-anticipated season finale, CBS All Access has released a batch of promotional photos. After discovering that the origin of the Burn was Su’Kal, the USS Discovery crew had to face the Emerald Chain. The syndicate of Orions and Andorians took over the spaceship, putting in danger the lives of all passengers while attempting to negotiate a peace treaty with the Federation.

From the photos, it appears that Cmdr. Michael Burnham hasn’t lost hope to regain control of her ship. The stills show that there will be a close encounter between her and the leader of the Emerald Chain, Osyraa. There might be some other surprises for the USS Discovery crew, some pleasant and others not so much.

Olatunde Osunsanmi directed the episode written by Michelle Paradise.  The official synopsis for “That Hope Is You, Part 2” reads:

“As the Emerald Chain tightens its grip and the mystery of the Burn is finally solved, Burnham and the crew have one last chance to save themselves – and the Federation.”

Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 finale will premiere on CBS All Access on Jan. 17.
