The Crew Puts Up a Fight in Star Trek: Discovery Episode 3.12 Photos

In just a couple of episodes, Star Trek: Discovery fans will discover how Season 3 is going to end. To keep the hype high, CBS All Access has dropped a brand new set of promotional photos for the upcoming twelfth episode of Season 3. The latest installment saw Saru, Burnham, and Culber once again investigating the origin of the Burn, the mysterious cataclysm that altered the galaxy and led to a catastrophic shortage of dilithium.

The investigation led part of the USS Discovery crew to the Verubin Nebula where they found Su’Kal, a child able to create an energy surge similar to the Burn. In the meantime, the ship has been taken under control by an Emerald Chain ship commanded by Osyraa. Burnham and the rest of the crew have to do whatever it takes to regain their spaceship once again. Jonathan Frakes directed the episode written by Kenneth Lin. The official synopsis for “There Is a Tide…” reads:

“After capturing the U.S.S. Discovery, Osyraa seeks a meeting with Admiral Vance while Burnham and the crew must overcome unimaginable odds as they attempt to regain command of their ship.”

The upcoming Star Trek: Discovery Episode 3.12 will debut on CBS All Access on Thursday, Dec. 31.
