Lynda Carter’s Wonder Woman TV Series Is Now on HBO Max

This Friday, December 25, HBO Max will add Wonder Woman 1984 for one month. However, that won’t be the only Wonder Woman coming to the streaming service. HBO Max has announced that the ’70s Wonder Woman TV series starring Lynda Carter is also available now.

Carter wasn’t the first actress to play Diana Prince/Wonder Woman. Regardless, she defined the role in the ’70s. During the first of three seasons, Wonder Woman was set in the ’40s. However, the subsequent two seasons were set in the present.

Lyle Waggoner also starred in the series as Major Steve Trevor. But when the series shifted its timeframe to the ’70s, Waggoner played Steve Trevor Jr. instead of his father.

The Wonder Woman TV series is also streaming on DC Universe.  But that may change when DC Universe becomes DC Universe Infinite next month. The DC Universe original series have already transferred over to HBO Max.
