Jack Harkness Returns In Doctor Who: Revolution of the Daleks Teaser
John Barrowman’s Captain Jack Harkness has been one of the most popular up Doctor Who supporting characters since the revival series in 2005. Last season, Jack made a very brief appearance in “Fugitive of the Judoon,” when he passed on a warning to the Doctor through Yaz, Ryan and Graham. However, the Doctor’s current status as a prisoner means that Captain Jack is gonna have to pick up the slack.
BBC has announced that Barrowman is returning for this year’s holiday special, Doctor Who: Revolution of the Daleks. Additionally, the first teaser from the special finds Jack back on the TARDIS for the first time in a very long time.

Here’s the official synopsis from BBC:
“One of the most iconic characters in the Whoniverse is returning for the upcoming holiday special of Doctor Who, as John Barrowman MBE puts on his famous coat once more and reprises his role as Captain Jack Harkness.
In the upcoming special titled “Revolution of the Daleks,” Captain Jack will be on hand to help the fam as they discover a disturbing plan forming involving one of the Doctor’s most feared and dangerous enemies, the Daleks. With the Thirteenth Doctor locked away in a space prison, will Captain Jack be able to help save planet Earth?”
Doctor Who: Revolution of the Daleks will air on BBC America “in the holiday season.”
