Amazon Drops 15 Images From The Boys Season 2

There’s less than a month to go until The Boys make their explosive return to TV. And as the premiere draws closer, Amazon continues to tease how the second season will outdo the first. It’s been clear from the get-go that the team will deal with more than a few out-of-control supes this year. Now, via Collider, Amazon has shared another look at their latest ordeals in the form of 15 new photos from season 2.

A few of these images are taken from scenes we’ve glimpsed in previous trailers and clips. There’s Homelander and Queen Maeve’s introduction to Aya Cash’s Stormfront, plus a shot from an upcoming comic shop skirmish. However, there are plenty of new pictures here as well. Some of the highlights include Homelander paying his respects at Translucent’s funeral and Kimiko (known as “the Female” in the original comics) visiting a supe-related protest. We also see other members of The Seven like The Deep, seemingly plotting his revenge against the title characters. Additionally, Jesse T. Usher’s A-Train is seen playing a guitar that appears to have come from Prince’s collection.

Following the events of last season, The Boys are forced to go on the run from the law while plotting their next move against the supes’ corporate overlords at Vought. Viewers can also expect a different release model for the episodes that comprise season 2. The first three installments will debut on September 4, with the remaining five episodes airing on a weekly basis. Fortunately, this isn’t the last we’ll see of Billy Butcher and his team. Amazon officially renewed The Boys for a third season last month.
