Black Noir Brings the Violence in The Boys Season 2 Sneak Peek

Amazon Prime has debuted a brand new sneak peek from the upcoming sophomore season of The Boys. The first three minutes of The Boys Season 2 features a meeting between Secretary of Defense Robert A. Singer and Vought CEO Stan Edgar. The latter, played by Giancarlo Esposito, will likely have a more prominent role in the show’s next season. So far, it seems that he has assigned the Supes to take care of some dirty business.

The teaser also features some superhero action. Black Noir is hunting some super-powered people all over the globe. And he is pretty good at doing his job, as the hunt ends with someone losing his head.

The official synopsis of the sophomore season reads:

“The Boys are on the run from the law, hunted by the Supes, and desperately trying to regroup and fight back against Vought. In hiding, Hughie (Jack Quaid), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capon) and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) try to adjust to a new normal, with Butcher (Karl Urban) nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Starlight (Erin Moriarty) must navigate her place in The Seven as Homelander (Antony Starr) sets his sights on taking complete control. His power is threatened with the addition of Stormfront (Aya Cash), a social media-savvy new Supe, who has an agenda of her own. On top of that, the Supervillain threat takes center stage and makes waves as Vought seeks to capitalize on the nation’s paranoia.”

The Boys Season 2 will premiere on Amazon Prime on September 4. Unlike the first season, Amazon will drop the first three episodes and then air the remaining five installments every week.
