The Boys Cast Will Announce the Season 2 Date During Streaming Reunion

Amazon has been teasing the arrival of The Boys’ second season with new footage, posters, and character reveals. But for some reason, the streaming service has kept the premiere date a secret…until now. Earlier today, showrunner Eric Kripke took to Twitter to announce a virtual cast reunion planned for this Friday, where the series’ actors will dish on everything related to season 2, including when viewers can finally start binge-watching the new episodes. You can check out Kripke’s tweet below.

True to the show’s brazen spirit, the event is being promoted as The Boys F***in’ Reunited, with Patton Oswalt serving as the host. Oswalt actually has a role in the new season that hasn’t been divulged just yet. Fans initially speculated that Oswalt’s real-life geek cred would make him a good fit to play the Legend, a foul-mouthed comic book writer-turned-Boys informant. However, other outlets have him pegged as Tek Knight, an armored superhero plagued by a bizarre sex addiction. It seems likely that Oswalt’s character will be confirmed once Friday’s discussion gets underway. Viewers might even get to watch a new trailer as well.

The Boys F***kin’ Reunited will be held at 11am PST on June 26.
