Next week, the Doom Patrol will return for another season on DC Universe and make its HBO Max debut. But before the most offbeat DC heroes can confront their latest enemies, they have to get big again!
DC Universe has released a new Doom Patrol season 2 trailer that shows The Chief, Niles Caulder, trying to strike a deal to restore Cliff Steele/Robotman, Larry Trainor/Negative Man, Rita Farr/Elasti-Woman, Victor Stone/Cyborg, and Crazy Jane to their rightful sizes. But some of the team members aren’t exactly eager to resume their lives. Additionally, Niles is apparently dying from extreme old age. And if Niles dies, his daughter, Dorothy Spinner, may destroy the world.

Much like the Doom Patrol itself, Dorothy doesn’t have a handle on her otherworldly abilities. However, some of the team members are trying to rise to the challenge. Rita even attempts to get better control of her elongated limbs. Regardless, the team seems particularly enthused when they throw a colossal party. Unfortunately, the SeX-Men have already crashed the celebration, and things are about to get even weirder.
Doom Patrol season 2 will premiere on DC Universe and HBO Max on Thursday, June 25. Three new episodes will drop on the 25th, and new episodes will premiere every Thursday thereafter.
