The new Stargirl TV series has finally made its debut both on DC Universe and The CW. The first episode seemed to meet the taste of critics and fans alike, paving the way to what looks like to be an exciting show to watch in Summer 2020. Now, a new promo for the upcoming second episode of the series has made its way online. The clip features the 15-foot robot Pat Dugan created in order to help his step-daughter. S.T.R.I.P.E. — which stands for Special Tactics Robotic Integrated Power Enhancer — has already made several appearances in the Justice League Unlimited animated series. Now fans can enjoy him for the first time in a live-action show.

Geoff Johns wrote the episode, which is directed by Greg Beeman. The official synopsis of “S.T.R.I.P.E.” reads:
“After Courtney has an unexpected run-in with a member of the Injustice Society of America, Pat reveals the truth to her about their history. Meanwhile, Barbara is elated when she sees Courtney making an attempt to get along with Pat, not knowing the secret they’ve been keeping. Finally, things take a dangerous turn at Blue Valley High’s open house night when Courtney becomes the target of a dangerous foe.”
