Warning: There are spoilers ahead for the series premiere of Stargirl!
Tonight, Stargirl will make its network TV premiere on The CW. However, DC Universe has already released Stargirl season 1 episode 1, and we want to hear what the Superhero Hype community thinks about it!
Without getting too deeply into spoilers, the series premiere depicted the final day of the Justice Society. Hourman (Lou Ferrigno, Jr.), Wildcat (Brian Stapf), Doctor Mid-Nite (Henry Thomas), and Starman (Joel McHale) all fell in battle. Regardless, Pat Dugan (Luke Wilson) managed to escape with his life, and the Cosmic Staff of Starman.
A decade later, Pat has a new wife, Barbara Whitmore (Amy Smart); a son, Mike (Trae Romano); and a step-daughter, Courtney (Brec Bassinger). Naturally, Courtney discovers Pat’s heroic past and learns that the Cosmic Staff only works for her. She also has a theory about that as well.

It also appears that Pat may have been pursuing the Injustice Society after they murdered his friends and mentors. Unfortunately for Courtney, she’s already drawn some unwelcome attention during her first night out with the Cosmic Staff. Thankfully, Courtney is gonna have some backup even before she officially becomes Stargirl.
