New Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 7 Trailer Brings the Battle To the Past

Next month, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will return to ABC for its seventh and final season. However, Phil Coulson and his team still have one last mission to accomplish over the course of 13 episodes. To save the future, the agents have traveled to the past. But in order to maintain the timeline, S.H.I.E.L.D. needs Hydra to survive.

IGN has debuted a new Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. trailer for the seventh season that offers a glimpse at this year’s alien threat. From there, the agents appear to have gone native in order to blend in with the crowd. Additionally, there’s a glimpse of Enver Gjokaj reprising his role as Daniel Sousa from Agent Carter.

Here’s the official description from ABC:

“Coulson and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are thrust backward in time and stranded in 1931 New York City. With the all-new Zephyr set to time-jump at any moment, the team must hurry to find out exactly what happened. If they fail, it would mean disaster for the past, present, and future of the world.”

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s final season will premiere on Wednesday, May 27 on ABC.
