Disney+ Releases Official Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian Trailer

A brand new documentary series called Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian will debut on Star Wars Day, May 4th, this year. The show will feature The Mandalorian executive producer Jon Favreau as the host together with all the filmmakers and the actors who took part in the making of The Mandalorian. In 8 episodes, the fans will discover never seen before details about the backstage of a Star Wars project.

“It’s hard to believe all these years later, there is such energy around new stories in this world,” The Mandalorian executive producer and director Dave Filoni said.

Disney+ has now released the official trailer for the making of series. You can watch it in the player below. You can also check out the new Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian poster below.

The trailer reveals some interesting details from the fan-favorite show. It seems like new Star Wars celebrity Baby Yoda breached even Werner Herzog’s heart. Herzog was among the ones who insisted to “commit to the magic” when it came up to act together with the puppet. Plus, we see bounty hunter IG-11 improving on predecessor IG-88, who was originally built from parts of the old cantina from the A New Hope set.

But eventually, what makes Star Wars so special is not only the action but the message that promotes.

“George reiterated ‘Remember to make these stories hopeful, to give that to kids because they really need it.’ It’s important to the foundation of Star Wars,” Filoni added. “But we don’t just want action; we want to feel uplifted.”

Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian will premiere on Monday, May 4, with new episodes every Friday. What do you think about Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian trailer? Let us know in the comments section below.
