Six years ago, Star Wars: The Clone Wars came to an abrupt end without a true conclusion. But next month, Disney+ will rectify that with a new series finale. Only four episodes remain in The Clone Wars‘ final season, and Disney+ has released a teaser trailer for the remaining installments.
The footage features Ahsoka Tano’s reunion with Anakin Skywalker in the last days of the Clone Wars. He also reunites Ahsoka with the Clone squadron under her command, and they’ve apparently adapted her symbol as their own. As events race towards Revenge of the Sith, Ahsoka heads towards her destiny during the Siege of Mandalore. That means Ahsoka will have to face Maul by herself while Anakin and Obi-Wan are back on Coruscant during a Separatist attack.

It’s very likely that these episodes will reveal how Ahsoka survived the Jedi purge after Order 66. Star Wars Rebels also established that Ahsoka lived through the conflict. But there are still some gaps between the two series that may yet be explored.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars‘ final season will continue on Disney+ this Friday, April 17. The series finale will premiere on Friday, May 8.
