Dave Bautista Joins See Season 2 on Apple TV

Apple TV’s See wrapped up its first season last month. But as the second season takes shape, Jason Momoa’s Baba Voss will have a new rival. Via DeadlineGuardians of the Galaxy‘s Dave Bautista will join See season 2.  Aside from his MCU role, Bautista will also appear in Warner Bros.’ reboot of Dune and Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead for Netflix.

See was renewed back in October, one month before its premiere. The show takes place in a world where almost every human being is blind. Baba Voss becomes the guardian of twins who are born with their sight intact. However, he has to protect them from outside threats and raise them as his own. .

Bautista’s role hasn’t been revealed, but it seems likely that he will butt heads with Baba in the future.

Steven Knight, who previously worked on Peaky Blinders, created See and will remain on the series for season 2. The series also stars Alfre Woodard, Hera Hilmar, Sylvia Hoeks, Christian Camargo and Yadira Guevara-Prip.

Filming for See season 2 will take place next month and conclude in July.
