FreeForm’s Cloak and Dagger Stars Will Appear In Spider-Man
Even though Cloak and Dagger have been busy with their second season, that doesn’t mean they aren’t making stops elsewhere. The duo will make their animation debut in Disney XD’s Spider-Man series, with their episode set to premiere on October 6.
Olivia Holt and Aubrey Joseph will reprise their roles for the animated series. But the official synopsis makes it sound like Cloak and Dagger will be a “criminal duo.”
“When a new criminal duo, Cloak and Dagger, emerge at Midtown High with the plan to take revenge against Midtown’s benefactor Tiberius Stone and his company Alchemax, Superior Spider-Man must take them down and protect the school.”

This marks Cloak and Dagger’s latest crossover into another series. Last month, it was confirmed that they would appear in an episode of Hulu’s Marvel series, Runaways. Season 3 of Runaways will premiere on December 13. A specific date for the crossover episode wasn’t given yet.
However, Freeform hasn’t yet announced Cloak and Dagger‘s third season. But perhaps we’ll hear more at next month’s New York Comic Con.
