The seventh season of Arrow changed a lot of things for Oliver Queen and his friends in Star City. Midway through the season, Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum) decided to leave Team Arrow behind. Now, in a newly released Arrow season 7 deleted scene, fans can see how Curtis broke the news to his friend, Rene/Wild Dog.
SYFY Wire debuted the clip, which comes from the twelfth episode, “Star City Slayer.” The scene starts shortly after Curtis saved Dinah Drake/Black Canary’s life. Her throat was slit by Stanley Dover, the titular Star City Slayer. This wasn’t the only reason that Curtis decided to leave behind his Mr. Terrific persona. But it did encapsulate everything wrong with Curtis’ life at that time.

Although this was Curtis’ final episode as a series regular, Mr. Terrific did return for the seventh season finale. We also wouldn’t bet against him appearing in season 8 as well.
Arrow: The Complete Seventh Season is hitting Blu-ray and DVD on August 20. It features all 22 episodes of the seventh season, as well as the Elseworlds tie-in episodes of The Flash and Supergirl. Some of the bonus features include additional deleted scenes, a gag reel, an Elseworlds featurette, and the Arrow 2018 Comic-Con panel. As for the eighth and final season, The CW will premiere Arrow‘s last run on October 15.
